Audy’s Back

Paula Allodya Item, more popularly known as Audy, emerged from a four-year hiatus with the launch of her fourth album, “Lama-Lama Aku Bosan” (“I’m Eventually Bored”), last week.

Audy told Okezone.com that her desire to find the right songs delayed the album’s release. “I can’t just sing any song because I have my own [style],” she said. The singer added that she was happy to see fresh faces in the industry and was not intimidated by the competition.

Unlike her previous albums, Audy wrote the songs and arranged the music for “Lama-Lama.”

She released her first album, “18,” in 2002.

The album “20-02” came out in 2004 and included the hits “Dibalas Dengan Dusta” (“Returned With Lies”) and “Lagu Sendu” (“The Blue Song”). Her last album, “23-03,” was released in 2006.
